This method worked until the U.S.A bombed both Hiroshima and Nagasaki causing the Japanese to withdraw from WWII and surrender from the different occupied places in SEA. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki destroyed the morale of the Japanese population and killed hundreds of thousands.
