Causes Of Japanese Expansion in Southeast Asia
The Japanese expansion in SEA was mainly caused by !. Their greed for power and 2. Their need for resources. After all their battles in SEA they were poorly equipped and in need of resources fast. They started a campaign in SEA known as "island hopping". This method worked until the U.S.A bombed both Hiroshima and Nagasaki causing the Japanese to withdraw from WWII and surrender from the different occupied places in SEA. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki destroyed the morale of the Japanese population and killed hundreds of thousands.
